• Encouragement and Support: Yusuf had a spirit of encouragement and uplifted those around him. He offered support to others, inspiring them to overcome challenges and accomplish their missions.
   

• Passion for Physical Fitness: Yusuf valued physical well-being and took good care of his own health. His passion for running and maintaining his physical condition was evident in his participation in marathons and his commitment to fitness.
   

• Academic Excellence: Yusuf excelled academically, highlighted by his participation in an advanced math and science academic program called Project SEED. His academic focus shifted to business while at Hampton University, where he achieved notable success.
   

• Community Engagement: Yusuf was actively involved in his community, working as a lifeguard and engaging with programs and camps that served young people. He was also connected to various communities, including his Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, which provided him with extended support.
   

• Resilience and Perseverance: Yusuf faced challenges and obstacles throughout his life but demonstrated resilience and perseverance in overcoming them. He showed determination in completing a marathon even when he had only trained for a half marathon.
